Use MetaTrader 5 desktop, a valid MQL5.community account and the same account used to obtain the product. Never share passwords, access keys or remote-control access to complete an installation.
Prerequisites
- MetaTrader 5 desktop installed from an official source or your broker.
- An MQL5.community account connected under Tools → Options → Community.
- A trading account and the gold symbol offered by the broker; its name may contain a suffix.
- An understanding that a Market EA demo runs in Strategy Tester, not on an online chart.
- Prepare MetaTrader 5 and your MQL5 account
Open the terminal and connect the same MQL5 account used to obtain the product. Official help states that a different or invalid account can prevent the product from starting. - Obtain the EA from the official listing
Review its description, current terms and available options. If you use the demo, launch it from Navigator into Strategy Tester. - Locate the product in Navigator
Open Market → My Purchases. Install it if required and then locate it under Expert Advisors. MQL5 Market manages download and activation. - Open the correct symbol
InfinityGoldFx is focused on XAUUSD. Check the exact gold symbol, suffix and specifications provided by your broker; do not assume compatibility from the name alone. - Attach the EA and review its inputs
Drag InfinityGoldFx from Navigator onto the chart. Review Common and Inputs. Do not change frequency, risk or identifiers without understanding their effect. - Enable automated trading consciously
MetaTrader 5 requires permission in both the EA properties and the platform. Enabling it authorises trading; it does not validate the configuration or remove risk. - Verify status before trading
Check the name and icon on the chart, the dashboard if enabled, and messages under Experts and Journal. Start with Strategy Tester or a demo environment and retain the settings used.
Legitimate support may request the product build, a screenshot of an error and relevant lines from Experts or Journal. It does not need your MQL5 password, broker password, investor keys, two-factor codes or uncontrolled remote access.
How to verify it is active
- The EA name and icon appear in the chart corner, as described in MetaTrader 5 Help.
- AutoTrading is enabled globally and for that EA instance.
- Experts and Journal show no MQL5 account, activation, symbol or permission error.
- The InfinityGoldFx dashboard appears when its input is enabled.
Common issues
The product is missing
Check the Community account and My Purchases section; confirm that you are using the intended terminal.
Trading is disabled
Check both AutoTrading permission levels and read Experts and Journal before changing inputs.
The symbol differs
Find the broker's gold symbol and review its suffix and specifications. Do not rename or force compatibility.
A new computer
Reinstallation can consume a Market activation. Review the activations shown for the product.
